About Us

Hot Buys Plus was founded in 2009 with the goal of connecting local consumers with local companies. Over the years the founders have developed a unique marketing system that has the affordability local businesses are needing, but also has the effectiveness local businesses are wanting.

Here’s where we started and where we’re going…

2009 – Hot Buys Plus (Known as SYLCS – Support Your Local Community Stores) was founded in Prince Edward Island, Canada. SYLCS was a company that developed a advertising card rack system displaying local companies advertising cards in other local businesses.

2009 – SYLCS was renamed to Shop and Buy PEI and along the with card rack systems started displaying digital advertising screens throughout Prince Edward Island, Canada

2010 – Shop and Buy PEI was renamed to Hot Buys Canada Marketing Inc. in preparation to expand into other Canadian Provinces.

2011 – Hot Buys Canada Marketing Inc. develops an online shopping system utilizing Hot Buys and Perks. The card rack system is discontinued. Almost all Vendors convert over to the new system.

2012 – Hot Buys Canada Marketing Inc. partners with a web development company and starts developing the completely trackable online marketing website.

2013 – Hot Buys Canada Marketing Inc. sets up advertising screens in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada.

2013 – Hot Buy Canada Marketing Inc. launches their new fully interactive website utilizing Hot Buys and Perks.

2014 – Hot Buys Canada Marketing Inc. changes their web domain to HotBuysPlus.com.

2014 – Hot Buys Plus discontinues the advertising screens, due to the success of the new interactive website.

2014 – Hot Buys Plus adds Rewards as part of their marketing systems.

2015 – Hot Buys Plus expands into Moncton and Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.

2015 – Hot Buys Plus expands into Boise, Idaho, USA

2015 – Hot Buys Plus adds Bonuses and Events as part of their marketing system.

2016 – Hot Buys Plus adds the Reward Points program.

2016 – Hot Buys Plus introduces their “Money Back” guaranteed marketing system.

2016 and beyond – Hot Buys Plus will expand into other Canadian Provinces and into other States.
